Biography:
Dan "The Hometown Real Estate Professional" is a Boulder native and third generation of family members that have called Boulder home. He received all of his education from Boulder schools starting at Eisenhower Elementary, Flatirons Elementary, Platt Middle School, Boulder High School, and graduated from the University of Colorado with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication.
In 1994, Dan entered the real estate business and has been actively involved with the Boulder Area Realtor Association since 2000; serving 6 years as a Director, 2 years as Vice President of Member Services, 1 year as Vice President of Information Services, President of the association in 2004, and was recognized as Realtor of the Year in 2005. Dan has been Chairman of numerous committees and is currently the Chair for BARA Project Home and a Director for the Colorado Association of Realtors. The Project Home Southern Lights project presented completed homes to 4 new home owners in 2007.
Dan has extensive roots within the Boulder community and comes from a family that has served Boulder County for generations and believes in giving back to the community. Dan has been a youth basketball coach, a mentor for Boulder Chamber of Commerce program Student Leadership Boulder, and has been involved with many community fund raising efforts including the YMCA Strong Kids campaign.
While being a top producing Realtor, Dan's highest priority is personal and professional customer service and taking care of peoples' needs. Nearly 90 % of Dan's business is from repeat clients or referrals from the large base of friends, family, and happy past customers. Dan lives in the Gunbarrel neighborhood of Boulder with his wife Sarah and daughter Riley. Dan is a big CU Buffalo fan and enjoys sports of all types; fly fishing, travel and sailing. He also enjoys spending time with family and friends, and participating in various basketball and softball leagues.
